What’s that thing they say about balancing work and play? Day five was a Saturday, which in my world means class. So on Friday night we had to be in East London. We didn’t have any activities or places we were dying to see. We went straight to where we had booked Fish Eagle Manor in Nahoon (Tripadvisors top choice). It’s a fairly decent place, the owners are friendly and will make sure that your stay is comfortable. The breakfast is exactly what it should be, delectable! They have WiFi, but I can’t really vouch for that, because as hard as I tried, it just kept rejecting me and I was really sad, because I live for free internet.
Anyway after driving up and down the town looking for what Himself calls a “good food spot” we found a little Chinese food outlet called Shangai and we had sushi or what Himself termed Chinese Sushi (haha!). Despite ourselves, the food was divine, and we resolved to eat there again when I come down for my next class. To make sure you get a spot, you must either book beforehand or arrive early, it gets really packed and once you sample their dishes you will know why.
