Having missed lunch in Wilderness, we made sure not to repeat the same mistake. We woke up reasonably early, went to jog by the seaside. We got back to our room and still had enough time to meet an old friend over breakfast. Being a local and all too familiar with the Gardern Route, he suggested places we can go to in Knysna for lunch, sight seeing and obviously decent accommodation. We arrived in Knysna just before twelve noon. We went to the picturesque Point View to take in the stunning views of the Knysna Heads. Later we drove down to Freshline Fisheries, a rustic restaurant with the freshest fish in town. We had oysters for starters and cob fish with Greek salad. This restaurant is not licensed to serve alcohol; it’s best you bring your own drinks. To avoid disappointment, go early. It’s very popular!
